Becoming a member of ACM has a great number of benefits. It looks good on a resume, plus you get to have a lot of fun. If you join the national chapter, you also get a substantial amount of other benefits, which include access to free online courses, over 500 e-books, journals, publications, one-on-one mentorship programs with IT professionals, and much more.
Joining
Joining the student chapter of ACM here at Kent State is easy. There are no forms to fill out, no dues to pay, nothing! If you'd like to join, all you have to do is come to the meetings (usually held on a bi-weekly basis) and have a good time.
Joining the National Chapter
If you are a current student, you can join the national ACM organization for only $19. To join, you can either fill out the online application or download a printable PDF. If you would like to become a professional member, use either this online form or PDF.
